Applications are invited for a full-time faculty position for a board- certified or board-eligible Neurologist in The Department of Neurology at Albany Medical Center, part of the Albany Med Health System. Albany Medical Center, home to Albany Medical College, is the only academic medical center in northeastern New York.
The Department of Neurology has established programs in epilepsy, dementia, movement disorders, neuromuscular disease, pediatric neurology, pain management and stroke/neurocritical care. Successful candidates will focus primarily on outpatient general neurology in three locations in the Capital Region; however, subspecialty training in all areas is welcomed, and opportunities exist to craft a clinical experience focused on your areas of interest. In addition, the position offers opportunities to work with and supervise medical students and resident physicians in neurology.
The salary range represents base salaries for an Assistant Professor’s appointment. They do not include the incentive bonus that is paid quarterly, which adds to the total compensation.
