Academic OB/GYN Generalist - MedStar Georgetown University Hospital

The position encompasses the full range of Ob/Gyn patient care and an appropriate academic rank and title at Georgetown University Medical Center.  Medical student and resident teaching are expected.  The position involves a private practice-type setting at several sites.  The department has full-time specialists in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Genetic Counseling, and Minimally Invasive Gyn Surgery.  MGUH is a full-service tertiary care hospital with a Level IV NICU and on-site MFM providers.  The new Verstandig Pavilion which opened December 2023 with new emergency, OR, and ICU capabilities.

MedStar Health is the largest nonprofit health care organization in the Baltimore-DC-Maryland area with 10 hospitals in Maryland and the District of Columbia.  Our colleagues in the MedStar Women’s Health Service Line include Gyn Oncology and Urogynecology. 

The Division of General Gynecology and Obstetrics is seeking a physician with excellent clinical and surgical skills.  In-house call is approximately one in ~10 nights with the day off post-call.   Salary is competitive and includes incentive potential.

This position has a hiring range of $235,000 - $357,000.
