Job Description

Join the largest hospital in Hawaii as a full-time Nuclear Medicine Radiologist at The Queen's Health System in Honolulu. This major tertiary referral hospital and level 1 trauma center is seeking a motivated, board-certified physician interested in joining and growing their team. The Queen's Health System in Honolulu encompasses a comprehensive range of therapeutic and diagnostic studies. The therapeutic practice includes treatments such as I-131, Lutathera, and Lu-177 PSMA. We also have a highly active Y90 program in collaboration with the Interventional Radiology section and extensive experience in procuring and managing nuclear medicine research trials. Additionally, we play a significant role in the Radiation Safety Program. Our diagnostic studies include SPECT lung scans, SPECT-CT bone scans, white blood cell scans, gallium scans, DAT scans, gallbladder and gallbladder ejection fraction scans, cardiac amyloid scans, gastric emptying studies, parathyroid SPECT CT scans, and renal scans, including GFR assessments for renal transplant donors. We also perform lymphoscintigraphy. We design PET/CT protocols and interpret a variety of scans including FDG (for malignancies, lymphoma response to therapy using Deauville score, cardiac sarcoid, infections including osteomyelitis, dual time point pulmonary nodule assessment), PSMA, DOTATATE, and amyloid PET/CT scans.
