Pediatric Associate of Florida is seeking a part or full-time pediatric cardiologist for office-based outpatient care.  New graduates or practicing cardiologists with interest in general cardiology, echocardiography and ambulatory cardiac care are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications for this position include:

• Experience is preferred, but not required
• Candidates should be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Cardiology.
• Meet the requirement for medical licensure to practice in the State of Florida.
• Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is preferred, but not required.

Our practice focus is on outpatient and ambulatory cardiac care delivered during office hours. Experienced nurse practitioner and cardiac sonographer are available as dedicated support for your practice. Beyond clinical duties, there is opportunity to teach /train clinical staff, tailor your practice for optimal growth strategy and attend monthly lecture series at regional referral hospitals for continued education. Three tertiary level Children’s hospitals located within Broward and Miami-Dade County serve as referral centers towards pediatric cardiac surgical or inpatient needs for our patients. Remote /virtual platform support is available within the office for surgical case presentation and advanced cardiac consultation on as needed basis.

Call responsibility is shared with the other cardiologists and consists mainly of nursery/ NICU coverage at regional community hospitals. Our outpatient cardiology hours offer excellent work-life balance with substantial family time. Depending on the day, our outpatient clinics are open weekdays from 8a-5p or 8a-7p and Saturdays from 8a-12p. We also provide Saturday after-hours care at numerous locations throughout Florida.  Most offices are closed from 12pm-1:30pm for lunch. After-hours care is offered in select locations on weekdays from 5:30p-10:30p, Saturdays from 1p-8p and Sundays from 12p-5p.
