The Opportunity
Are you ready to make a real difference in healthcare? We seek a System Division Head of Cancer  Surgical Specialties to lead the charge in transforming our clinical operations. Reporting directly to  the System Executive Medical Director of Cancer Care Services, this role offers a unique opportunity to  shape the future of healthcare delivery at Rochester Regional Health.

Strategic Leadership: Drive our strategic vision of becoming a national model of health and healing, with a relentless focus on quality, safety, and innovation

Clinical Excellence: Bring your expertise and clinical skills and help expand on our success and full  integration of our Cancer Institute
Operational Excellence: Lead initiatives to enhance the quality of care, patient safety, and overall patient experience across the system

People Empowerment:  Develop and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth

Community Engagement:  Build strong relationships with our communities, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver tailored, compassionate care

Financial Stewardship:  Drive financial performance and operational efficiency, ensuring the long-term  sustainability of our healthcare services


What You'll Bring
Leadership: Proven experience in a clinical leadership role within the healthcare industry, with a track record of driving organizational change and achieving measurable results

Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and execute tactically, aligning operational initiatives with organizational goals

Innovation: A passion for innovation and technology, with a keen eye for opportunities to leverage new tools and approaches to improve healthcare delivery

Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams at all levels of the organization

Clinical Expertise: Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree with  board certification in a relevant surgical specialty needed
