Our not-for-profit health system serving Upstate South Carolina and northeast Georgia seeks cardiothoracic surgery coverage. The hospital was named one of the nation’s 153 “Great Community Hospitals” by Becker’s Hospital Review.

Qualifications:

• Board certified
• South Carolina Medical License
• South Carolina DEA
• Clean background

Practice Setting:

• 495 bed hospital
• Level II Trauma
• EMR is Epic
• Case mix
  • General CV/thoracic surgery
  • Coronary artery bypass surgery
  • Congenital defects-preferred
  • Valvular repair-preferrec
  • Aneurysm repair (cardiac & aorto-thoracic - preferred)
  • Lung resection (preferred)
  • Chest wall or pleural procedures (preferred)
  • Evaluation & management of acute vol/BP issues (preferred)
  • Insertion of central line, arterial line, PA catheter, IABP (preferred)

Schedule:

• Must be able to cover July 11th-July 16th and December 18th-December 23rd
• 24 hour call, 7am-7am
