The ACOS for the Rehab and Extended Care is an executive leadership position that oversees the department. The ACOS is responsible for overseeing the planning, developing, coordinating, directing, and evaluating the Rehab and Extended Care services for VA Hudson Valley. Rehab and Extended Care consist of Geriatrics, Physical Medicine and rehab, Audiology, Whole Health, Community Living Centers, HBPC, Palliative Care, and Administrative Medicine and Therapy depts.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: critical onsite presence for daily operations, credentialing and privileging of providers, monitoring key clinical metrics, and formulating action plans as needed to ensure the achievement of clinical, research, and educational goals. The programs serve both inpatient residential and Outpatient. The focus is on providing comprehensive healthcare, improving access to care, ensuring quality of care, and promoting positive outcomes for our Veterans.

Recruitment Incentive (Sign-on Bonus): Approved
Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
