For over thirty years, Neuroscience Group has provided excellent neurologic care for the Fox Valley and Northeast Wisconsin. Ours is the only independent medical practice in the area that combines neurosurgery, neurology, orthopedic spine surgery, interventional and non-interventional pain management and physical therapy. Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Neurologist to join our collaborative team of 7 neurologists and 8 Nurse Practitioners in Neenah, WI. At Neuroscience Group, we foster a work environment built on mutual respect, where colleagues value each other's expertise and contributions. Our team is committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to patients with a variety of neurological conditions.  While fellowship training is not required, subspecialty expertise or interest is welcomed.  While we have an immediate need for movement disorder, Parkinson's, and memory care we encourage all sub-specialties to consider joining our team!

Enjoy the luxury of working with an exceptional support staff, including a clinical assistant to aid in patient care and procedures, a triage RN to expertly assess and prioritize patient needs, and a billing support specialist to ensure accurate and timely billing processes. Our practice also provides prior authorization support to handle complex pre-approval processes with insurance companies, scheduling support to efficiently organize appointments, and administrative support to manage office logistics and patient communications. This comprehensive support network allows our neurologists to focus on delivering the highest level of care to their patients.

There is an opportunity for the right candidate to work in a rotation as Neurohospitalist from 7 AM to 5 PM Monday-Friday with some weekend hours required.  There is no night time hospitalist on-call required, however there is some light evening in-patient call hours throughout the month.

The ideal candidate will be someone who views Neurology as a profession and a calling, not just a job. You will be working alongside a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including neurosurgeons, physiatrists, nurse practitioners, and therapists, to develop and implement personalized treatment plans. Responsibilities

 

  • Diagnose and treat patients with neurological disorders such as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and stroke.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as EEG, EMG, and neuroimaging.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including neurosurgeons, nurse practitioners, and therapists, to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and educate patients and their families about neurological conditions and treatments.

Qualifications

 

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Neurology.
  • Valid medical license to practice in Wisconsin.
  • Strong clinical skills in neurology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
