WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine physician. Candidate will join us at our Franciscan Health Maternal Fetal Medicine & Genetics located in Indianapolis, IN.

Interested candidate will join a consultative-only practice, with an established physician offering services such as: high-risk pregnancy consultation, routine and detailed fetal anatomic survey, genetic counseling, prenatal screening, and fetal diagnostic testing.

Ideal candidate will provide maternal and fetal care with strong emphasis on prenatal diagnosis and treatment while maintaining compassionate, clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and build long-lasting relationships with patients and their families.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

For all health care services at Franciscan Physician Network, we follow the Ethical and Religious Directives, while caring for our patient population.

  • Clinic hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
    • Consult only call schedule with no prenatal care and no deliveries
    • Shared call
  • Strong referral base from network OB-GYNs
  • Average outpatient volume: 80 patients per week
  • Inpatient consultations at single facility
  • Possible outreach to surrounding areas
  • Level 3 NICU
  • Procedures:
    • Amniocentesis
    • Preferred, but not required procedures
      • Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS)
      • Percutaneous Umbilical Cord Blood Sampling (PUBS)
      • Intrauterine Transfusion
  • On-site Equipment:
    • GE Voluson E10
    • Viewpoint Software
  • Riley Children’s Fetal Center only 25 minutes away
  • Full-time Genetic Counselor on staff

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate - Required
  • Physician License (MD/DO) - Upon Hire Required – and -
  • Board Certification in Specialty Discipline (or eligibility if appropriate) - Upon Hire Required
  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Upon Hire Required
