The Salisbury VA Medical Center is currently recruiting for a board-certified Gastroenterologist who possesses diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic ultrasound skills in the management of patients with G.I. diseases. The incumbent will conduct FNA cytology and biopsies, drainage of pancreatic cyst and bile duct obstruction, and expertise in cancer management including staging of esophageal and rectal cancer. Additionally, you will provide outpatient and inpatient consultations to evaluate patients with G.I. diseases, including sharing on-call service, perform routine diagnostic, therapeutic upper endoscopy, and colonoscopy. You’ll provide routine care including health maintenance as well as diagnostic/therapeutic service for veterans with acute conditions including pancreaticobiliary diseases and patients admitted with acute cholangitis, obstructive jaundice, and other significant G.I. issues.
Along with a salary range of $275,000 to $400,000 the VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package.
