We are seeking a Cardiothoracic Fellowship trained anesthesiologist to join our physician-owned practice in Greenville NC. ECU Health is just 90 minutes from Raleigh!! We are a thriving and expanding private group seeking 2025 coverage at ECU Health's Level 1 trauma center in NC with more than 920 beds (21st largest in US). Starting pay is highly competitive, and multiple clinical pathways are available including a path to a partnership to the interested individual who excels in teamwork, leadership, and has a strong work ethic. The Package

We are currently offering a substantial signing bonus (or stipend for individuals currently in their fellowship), or residents that will be starting a cardiac fellowship in the near future. We have currently reduced our path to partnership from 4 years to 3 years, and now have a biannual bonus program.

Casework

All types of cases including high acuity cardiac cases. Our Cardiac Physicians will attend 1000-1200 cardiac pump cases per year. In regards to call, physicians see about 2-3 overnight in house calls per month and back-up pager call is approximately 3-4 times per month. Mix of cardiac (mostly) and general call; average to 1 day/week and 1 weekend per month. Some in house over night shifts with pre and post call day off and the majority of the rest of the call is cardiac call (back up at home on pager after 7pm). Post call day is early out.
