Locum Anesthesiologist *120650: East Central, Iowa Trauma Level: 2 Dates: October 7-11, October 14-18, Oct 21-25, Nov 4-8, Nov 11-15, Nov 18-22, Nov 25-29, Dec 2-6, Dec 9-13, Dec 16-20, Dec 23-27, Dec 30-Jan 3, & Sporadic ongoing coverage Schedule: 7a - 5p Call: possible, but rare Average # of surgical cases per day: 4-6 No supervision EMR System: Cerner Case Mix: General surgical adult and pediatric cases. No neonatal. Minor nerve blocks, IV regional anesthesia, spinal, epidural, OB, Neuro is basic bread and butter with 95% spine. Thoracic and vascular - some thoracoscopy maybe ab fistula but no aorta surgeries and no complicated vascular or complex orthopedic. Patient Demographic: All ages, for Peds it is mostly ENT - tubes & tonsils Credentialing Time-Frame: 4-6 weeks Active IA License/IMLC required Board Certified required Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP COVID Vaccination required Never worry about your travel accommodations again!
