Anesthesiologist- Christus Westover Hills Hospital (New Schedule and Compensation)

EAM is looking for experienced, self-motivated, service-minded, and confident Anesthesiologist to join the team at Westover Hill is San Antonio, TX.

CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Westover Hills Hospital is a multi-specialty facility that offers a diverse case mix. Case types include general surgery, orthopedic, GI, urology, ENT, spine, ophthalmology, OB/GYN, Neuro, and pain management. Anesthesiologists should be proficient in performing regional and peripheral nerve blocks. Most of the anesthetics at Westover Hills are on adult patients. OB is primarily covered in-house by a dedicated team of CRNAs that rotate on 24 hour shifts. No trauma, transplant, or CV coverage required.

Anesthesiologist compensation is $565,000/yr ($47,083 monthly). This compensation will be paid as 1099 in exchange for 35 weeks of anesthesia coverage. Providers will enjoy significant time off with one week off every third week and no scheduled cases on holidays! This model will consist of a team of both anesthesiologists and CRNAs; The Anesthesiologist team will be a 3 person team, with 2 Anesthesiologists on site daily rotating call. Post Call MD will be first off each day. ON average, 6 rooms covered per day with 6 CRNAS, 2 MDs and a float CRNA (floats between the OR or OB). MDs take primary OR call and backup OB call. One MD and One CRNA are on call for OR on weekends. Additional CRNA from 7a-3p on Saturdays to assist with cases. Malpractice insurance is covered by EAM.
