Founded by our Family Medicine Residency program (CWFM) in 1993, CHCW has grown into an integrated community health center to include full spectrum primary care, pediatric, senior and residential care, behavioral and addiction care, and dental serving the Yakima and Kittitas Counties at multiple sites.

Practice Highlights:
- FM or FM/OB to serve as a leadership liaison between our CWFM clinic and residency services.
- The Medical Site Director (MSD) is the principle provider and has responsibility for clinical quality and safety of care delivered to our patients.
- The MSD will also have some APD responsibilities including ensuring ACGME Common and Specialty Program Curriculum requirements are met.
- Proactively identifies opportunities to improve the patient and family experience of care and to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of resource use.
- Working with, and sensitive to a marginalized patient population in a FQHC/CHC setting would be a plus.
- Bilingual in Spanish would be a plus.
- EMR: OCHIN EPIC.
Key Responsibilities include:
- As a key member of CHCW management team, the MSD provides leadership, direction, vision, and executes the organizational strategic plan, growth and expansion of services, and development of policies.
- Serves as a member of the Residency Leadership Team and is a member of the CCC, PEC, and assists with the management of the Resident advising, scheduling, and oversight.
- Serves as core faculty.
- Collaborates on standardization of clinical protocols.
- Participates in the recruitment of clinical staff and assists with site specific onboarding process.
- Works closely with CMO to provide direction regarding all clinical issues.
- In residency sites, works collaboratively with Program Director, Program Office Staff and Faculty to ensure quality clinical education for residents.

- Base Salary: $225k-$235k includes MSD, faculty, APD, and experience. $15k additional incentive for FMS/OB call (optional).
Qualifications:
- MD/DO degree or IMG equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine US Residency.
- WA License or the ability to obtain a WA license.
- DEA and CPR certificate.
- BE/BC required.
- 2 years as a medical provider with a combination of education, training, and experience.
- Additional prep instruction for program development, physician administrator, or faculty development fellowship is highly recommended.
- Prior medical leadership roles are highly desirable.
- Great peer references and in good standing.
- Approved for credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid, and health plans.
