The National Director of Behavioral Health Services at TeleMed2U will lead and oversee the strategic growth, operational management, and clinical quality of our nationwide telehealth behavioral health division.  This position is a key member of the TeleMed2U leadership team who will foster strong collaborative relationships across the organization and drive the success of our behavioral health division. Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Innovation:

  • Inspire and motivate a clinical team of behavioral health professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
    • Drive innovation in telehealth behavioral services, implementing best practices and emerging technologies.
    • Develops new ways to improve the integration of behavioral health services to improve the quality and continuum of client care. 

Operational Excellence:

    • Strive for operational excellence by optimizing clinical team encounters and ensuring efficient use of resources.
    • Develop and implement processes to enhance the delivery and efficiency of behavioral health services.
    • Identifies and solves systemic problems that impede operational integration and the quality of care and services provided. 

Clinical Quality Oversight:

    • Establish and maintain clinical quality oversight, monitors program performance and outcomes of the clinical programs to ensure the highest standards of care.
    • Monitor and evaluate clinical performance metrics, implementing improvements as necessary.
    • Assumes overall responsibility for ensuring clinical standards and compliance for Behavioral Health Services.

Strategic Growth:

    • Lead the expansion of behavioral health services to a national scale, including the development of new clinical program offerings.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other clinical leaders to align behavioral health services with the company's overall strategic goals.

Program Development and Implementation:

    • Design and implement innovative clinical programs that address the diverse needs of our patient population.
    • Ensure programs are evidence-based, patient-centered, and aligned with current clinical guidelines. 

Collaboration and Communication:

    • Foster strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Represent the behavioral health division in cross-functional meetings and initiatives.

Clinical Care Delivery and Supervision:

    • Provides Direct Patient Care (DPC) for the Behavioral Health Services division. DPC will range from 10-15 hours per week based on the level of patient demand.
    • Provides clinical oversight and mentors PA/NP/MD/Therapy supervises in their professional development, ensuring opportunities for furthering their talents, skills, and growth within the organizational practice of psychiatry.
    • Conducts regularly scheduled monthly 1:1 with each supervisee and completes documentation of meetings which includes chart reviews that cover areas of improvement, appropriateness of diagnosis & treatment plans.

 Qualifications and Experience:

  • MD/DO, holds a valid Texas and California license or is eligible for licensure.
  • Board Certification in Psychiatry and Fellowship in Child & adolescent preferred.
  • 5 Years of Clinical practice
  • 2 Years of Management/Leadership position
  • 3 Years of Supervisor experience
