Job Description

Helen DeVos Children's Hospital, located in beautiful Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking to add a full-time behavioral pediatrician to their flagship, multidisciplinary autism evaluation program.  The ideal candidate is an experienced, board certified pediatrician with a strong interest in autism evaluations, behavioral medicine, and building long term relationships with patients and families.  A fellowship in developmental-behavioral pediatrics is not required. 

Opportunity Highlights:

  • Participate in Autism Assessment Clinic, which includes a multidisciplinary team of physicians, psychologists, speech language therapists, and social workers to conduct robust evaluations for children who have concerns for an ASD diagnosis (two hour visits per child)
  • Extended pediatric behavioral medicine 90-minute new patient evaluations and 30-minute follow up visits
  • Work closely with a full team of Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists, Pediatric Psychologists, and Psychotherapists
