Medical Director (Psychiatry) – Outpatient & Corrections – PST Time Zone - 100% Remote – (Oregon License Required)

Description 

Iris Telehealth is seeking compassionate psychiatrists (MD/DO) with Medical Director experience and an active Oregon license for a 100% remote outpatient and corrections opportunity. This position requires 24 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm PST. You will provide telepsychiatry services to adult patients as a part of a highly collaborative team to ensure comprehensive care of patients in outpatient and correctional settings.

Job Responsibilities 

• Work as a top-level licensee within a team environment to drive the success of patients, the clinic team, and the organization 
• Provide patient care in outpatient and correctional settings 
• Collaborate closely with clinic leadership to identify and address any medical risks 
• Act as a patient advocate in the court system based on patient program involvement 
• Provide consultation to clinic providers upon request 
• Review and approve medical policies as necessary 

Qualifications 

• Completion of a 4-year ACGME Residency Program in Psychiatry 
• Active medical license in Oregon is required 
• Minimum of 2 years of exp as a Medical Director 
• Board certification is required
• Keen sense of operational efficiencies and policy review to achieve quality care to all patients 
• Open to treating patients with all levels of acuity of care (from low to high) 
• 24 hours per week availability  
• Live in the U.S. or a U.S. territory
