OB/GYN Hospitalist Opportunity in Oklahoma City, OK
SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital is seeking an OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our talented, multidisciplinary team. Ideal candidates will be BC/BE in Obstetrics & Gynecology and will be dedicated to providing exceptional, compassionate care for Oklahomans.
Our OB/GYN Hospitalists will provide patient care in labor and delivery and postpartum with our OB/GYN residents. They will cover OB/GYN Residency patients, unassigned patients and provide back-up for all providers and patients on the Labor and Delivery unit, as needed to ensure safe care. They also cover GYN patients, including emergency GYN surgery for patients from the main emergency department and GYN in-patient consults.
Ideal candidates will be enthusiastic teachers of our OB/GYN residents and medical students, teaching evidence-based care, allowing graduated responsibility based on the resident’s skills and knowledge and participating as a Core Faculty member in resident evaluations, didactics, and residency program meetings. There is also an opportunity to take shifts covering our OB/GYN resident clinics, if interested, in addition to OB/GYN Hospitalist shifts.
