Part-Time Nocturnist Opportunity at Newport Hospital – Competitive Salary, Flexible Shifts, & PSLF Eligible

Newport Hospital, an affiliated partner of the Lifespan Physician Group, the largest physician organization in Rhode Island has an opening for a part time nocturnist. This position requires a 2024 or early 2025 start and cannot support a J1 waiver.
 
About the job:

• Competitive salary DOE with additional quality bonus potential
• EMR is EPIC
• 6 shifts per month; additional shifts available if desired
• Open ICU and ability to intubate is required – ER physicians will act as back up
• Shifts are 8pm-8am
• Patient load/encounters 15 +/- 3 over a 12-hour day shift

• CME/licensing/privileges/DEA allowance $3,500 per year

• Board certified or eligible in internal or family medicine
• Comfortable and competent with intubations

• Excellent communication skills with colleagues and staff
