Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an OB/GYN physician to the group at Gotham Health/Bushwick Communicare, an ambulatory FQHC community-based practice for the NYC Health + Hospitals System. The Center emphasizes primary and preventive care, working to help identify and achieve health goals. Gotham Health/Bushwick Communicare is located in a dynamic and vibrant area of Brooklyn, within the vicinity of the Barclay center, Atlantic, Museums, BAM, Parks and very easy access to Manhattan!

GYNECOLOGY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides primary health care to non-pregnant; asymptomatic women for health maintenance, including family planning services.
- Recognizes deviations from normal and refer to appropriate medical/social services.
- Requests and/or perform specific diagnostic procedures with appropriate consultation with the physician.
- Recognizes common gynecologic disorders and provides treatment within the prescribed protocol.
- Manages therapy for specific gynecology disorders.
- Supports and instructs the patient with respect to problems specific to female health, including counseling related to sexuality, family dynamics, infertility, family planning, self-breast examination, and menopause.
OBSTETRICS RESPONSIBILITIES
- Antepartum Care
- Establish the status of the present pregnancy and identify risks, present or potential.
- Assume responsibility for the management of the care of the mother and fetus throughout pregnancy, as long as progress meets criteria as normal.
- Request and/or perform diagnostic procedures.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Wages and Benefits include:
Annual Base Salary: $279,000* (board eligible) and $289,000* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $372,600** (board eligible) and $383,600** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) Contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
- Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $67,600***.
- 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
- Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
- After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
