Temporary Anesthesia General Springfield, IL Locum Anesthesiologist *119608: Central, Illinois Dates: ASAP - 12/31/2024 Needed: 2 Duration: 13 weeks Estimated Privileging:: 60 days Case Types: General, Ortho, Neuro Board Certification or Fellowship Required: Yes Must have an active state license Shift Type: 8 hour In House Call: Not Needed Weeknight & weekend - On Call (Pager): Not Needed OT offered (not expected) EMR: EPIC MDs supervising CRNAs 3:1 MDs doing their own cases Responsibilities | Assist in the directing and coordinating of Activities in the Anesthesia Department | Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious ad/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures | Pre-anesthesia assessment | Obtains and/or verifies patient consent | Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient | Induction, maintenance and emergence from anesthesia | Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition | Performance of clinical intervention as needed Requirements | M.D./D.O.
