Utilization Review/Physician Advisor Opportunity in Greenville, NC (Partial Remote)

ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Medical Center, located in Greenville, North Carolina, are seeking a physician to work as a Utilization Review Physician Advisor. The successful applicant will be a part of ECU Health Clinical Documentation Advisor Program and will have close working relationships with both the utilization review (UR) and appeals staff. Applicants must have at least three years of inpatient clinical experience. Previous utilization management experience is not required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must. Applicants who reside in North Carolina are preferred.

• Partial remote work opportunity-applicant must have a North Carolina Medical License and DEA
• Monday-Friday schedule
• Responsibilities will include status determination and providing guidance for length of stay, resource utilization, compliance, provider education, and clinical documentation (85% review, 10% education, 5% special projects)
