The Division of Hospital Medicine at MetroHealth Medical Center seeks outstanding clinician-educators to join our division. Opportunities include full time work in night-time hospital medicine. Applicants have the opportunity to obtain academic rank at the Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) School of Medicine. MetroHealth is an academic medical center that serves as a major teaching and research campus for CWRU. We are the only public hospital in Cuyahoga County. Clinical efforts will involve staffing admissions to the teaching and non-teaching inpatient medical services, cross coverage of admitted patients, and triage of outside transfers. Nocturnists with long term interest in subspecialty fellowships have opportunities for research with our CWRU faculty. Nocturnists work 10-11 shifts per calendar month. Shifts are 14 hours.
Applicants for academic hospitalist and nocturnist jobs must be BE/BC in internal medicine or family medicine. Evidence of teaching ability is strongly desired. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience. H1B sponsorship available.
