Pediatrician Opportunities (Academic and Non-Academic) Norton West Louisville Hospital

NORTON WEST LOUISVILLE HOSPITAL IS DESIGNED TO CREATE NEW LEVELS OF ACCESS TO PREVENTIVE AND SPECIALTY CARE AS WE MAKE MEANINGFUL CONNECTIONS IN THE COMMUNITY. WITH A FOCUS ON HEALTH EQUITY AND IMPROVING HEALTH OUTCOMES, WE KNOW THERE IS NO LIMIT TO WHAT OUR CARE CAN DO. OUR NEW HOSPITAL GIVES US AN OPPORTUNITY TO SHOW HOW CARE EXTENDS BEYOND THE WALLS AT 28TH STREET AND BROADWAY, AND WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A HEALTH CARE PARTNER. –CORENZA TOWNSEND Chief Administrative Officer Norton West Louisville Hospital

NORTON HEALTHCARE BELIEVES THAT HEALTH EQUITY SHOULD BE AT THE FOUNDATION OF OUR COMMUNITY. Every person, in every neighborhood, should have the same opportunities to get the health care they deserve. This year, Norton Healthcare will open a new hospital in West Louisville, the first hospital to be built in the historically underserved area in more than 150 years. Norton West Louisville Hospital is located on the Norton Healthcare Goodwill Opportunity Campus, and it will bring care and services to address the needs of those who live in the area. In partnership with Goodwill Kentucky, the campus also will offer residents career counseling, a barber school, community services, event space and more. Throughout the summer of 2022, we engaged residents throughout the city to participate in a community survey. We listened to our community — specifically the residents of West Louisville — to learn what is most important to them when seeking health care, and what they hoped the new hospital would offer. More than 4,500 completed surveys were collected during nearly 300 outreach events. The results provided us with a greater understanding of how important the new facility is to this area and how we can ensure it is meeting the needs of West Louisville residents.
