Job Description

The Providence Brain & Spine Institute (PBSI) is seeking a per-diem Stroke/Vascular Neurologist to join the Providence Stroke Program. The new physician will become part of a certified Comprehensive Stroke Network and Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center at the two major hub hospitals in Portland, with a regional Telestroke network and extensive ongoing clinical trials and epidemiologic research.The new stroke team member will join a team of eight board-certified vascular neurologists and five board-certified neurointensivists. Clinical responsibilities will include inpatient rounding on neurology consult service and stroke/telestroke call coverage. This position is for per-diem shifts at Providence Portland Medical Center and Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.
