Job Description
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and advancing the healthcare journey of our youngest patients’ population and their families. Here’s what awaits you:
- Engaging Practice Scope: Provide comprehensive preventative care including well-child and sick visit check-ups, sports physicals and immunizations. Additionally, spearhead our unique Centering Parenting Program, facilitating interactive visits to foster supportive relationships and guide families through critical developmental milestones.

Qualifications
- Possess a Medical degree, completion of medical residency.
- Possesses and maintains current Board Certification or Board eligibility within Pediatrics.
- Possesses and maintains current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland required or ability to acquire an unrestricted license.
- Possesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification required.
- Possesses and maintains, if applicable, appropriate clinical privileges at a minimum of one UMMS affiliated acute care facility.
- Demonstrates meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.
- Demonstrates appropriate qualifications and experience to perform the duties required of this position.
- Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, analytical, organization skills are required.

University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center is a 310-bed hospital located in Anne Arundel County. We're home to over 2,800 employees and 650 physicians, and we have been a member of the University of Maryland Medical System since 2000.

We performed Anne Arundel County's first joint replacement surgery in 1975, and continue to be an innovator in replacement surgery. And we completed an 18-month, $31 million surgical suite expansion in September 2011, expanding the number of operating rooms from 14 to 17. The rooms allow our surgeons to perform complex surgical cases with the latest technology in neurosurgery, vascular surgery, orthopaedics and robotics.
