Electrophysiologist - Metro Atlanta, Georgia

At Atlanta Heart Specialist’s (AHS), a CVAUSA partner, our talented and specialized team of Cardiologists and APPs provide an array of cardiovascular services across 8 full-time office locations and our affiliated hospitals. Each office offers ICAEL/ICANL-accredited echocardiography and nuclear cardiology services, as well as ICAVL-accredited noninvasive vascular imaging services. In addition, our practice provides coronary and peripheral vascular interventional services, coronary and peripheral CT angiography, and full-time electrophysiology services as well. We also have an active clinical research program with involvement in multicenter national and interventional clinical trials.

As we continue to expand our cardiovascular services throughout Metro Atlanta, we have a need for a dynamic and patient-centered Electrophysiologist to work within our Metro Atlanta clinics and affiliated Emory hospitals. Opportunity to reside within 20-30 minutes from downtown Atlanta and enjoy the autonomy and flexibility that private practices offer!

Job Details

  • Full-time Electrophysiologist.
  • Locations: Decatur, Tucker, and Sandy Springs locations.
  • Current need for second Electrophysiologist is due to growth – 15 other physicians referring directly to EP team.
  • Position will include a mixture of Electrophysiology and General Cardiovascular Services.
  • Electrophysiology services within our device clinics, and hospitals. Opportunities to work 2-3 days in the lab.
  • General cardiovascular services to include (but not limited to): echo, nuclear, TEE, cardioversions, stress tests, consults, medication management, etc.
  • Monday-Friday schedule.
  • Call responsibilities shared with other physicians – roughly 1:15 weekends. Additional APP support provided during call and weekdays.
  • Additional APP, MA, and administrative support.
  • Position will offer a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

  • B/C in Cardiovascular Medicine, and B/C or B/E in Electrophysiology.
  • Completion from a US Accredited Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular program.
  • Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
  • Board Certified in Nuclear and Echo.
  • Hard working, patient satisfaction/quality must be front and center.
  • Collegial, teamwork focused, and patient centered.
