Orthopedic Surgeon

The Westchester Medical Center Health Network Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is recruiting a General Orthopedic Surgeon to join our academic practice. The successful applicant will be based at MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY with a medical office located immediately adjacent to the Midhudson Hospital inpatient and outpatient facility. The hospital is located in a beautiful suburban setting, 75 minutes north of New York City, and serves as a busy American College of Surgeons accredited Level 2 trauma center.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Applicants must possess skills in adult reconstructive surgery, general orthopaedic surgery, orthopaedic sports medicine, and community trauma.
• The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 1-3 years experience and excellent clinical, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• The candidate will be joining a highly respected service with multiple locations supporting orthopaedic residency and fellowship training programs.
• The candidate should be board certified or board eligible by the ABOS and be eligible for an academic appointment at New York Medical College.
• This is an employed position within the Westchester Health Network Advanced Physicians multispecialty group practice.
