Rhode Island Hospital, The Miriam Hospital & Newport Hospital, affiliated hospitals of Lifespan Physician Group and The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University have an opening for a Division Director of Consultation Liaison Psychiatry which reports directly to the Psychiatrist-in-Chief. As Division Director you will also work closely with the Vice President of Behavioral Health on all administrative, operational, and financial matters and act as the liaison across the Lifespan system for all clinical and academic matters within their division. The primary role is to unite services and personnel into one division to enhance collaboration and improve care. Primary clinical duties include consultation-liaison to our inpatient medical and surgical floors and the opportunity to work in outpatient integrated care settings (transplant, oncology, immunology, neurology, and primary care).

Our Lifespan psychiatry services include inpatient behavioral health units, partial hospital, general and specialty outpatient programs, a consultation-liaison division servicing the general medical-surgical floors and integrated specialty outpatient clinics, ECT and TMS services, and a dedicated psychiatric emergency room.
