Gardaworld, the healthcare security experts, is currently seeking skilled Anesthesiology physicians to serve at the Hampton VA Medical Center site and join our team to provide the kind of exceptional care we supply our veterans.

Position Details:

• Location: Hampton, VA - Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)
• Pay Range: $144- $180 hourly 
• Direct Patient Care: Estimated 95% of the time involved in direct patient care.

Position Requirements:

• Current license to to practice medicine in any state
• MD/ DO
• BC/BE by American Board of Anesthesiology
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent

Responsibilities:

• Providing comprehensive clinical Anesthesiology services, including both clinic and surgical care.
• Offering primary coverage for patients in various settings such as surgical intensive care, short stay unit, acute and chronic pain management services, among others.
• Conducting consultative services at the patient’s bedside and in the clinic setting.
• Following established medication policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to all guidelines.
• Must be available within 15 minutes by phone and on-site, within 30 minutes.

Work Schedule:

• Regular Weekday Coverage: 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. M-F
• Clinic or OR Schedule: 7:00am to 3:30pm M-F
• Call: Availability during normal facility clinic hours, with on-call coverage during off-hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
