Interventional Cardiologist – Complex Coronary Artery Disease

The world-class cardiovascular medicine program at Cleveland Clinic is seeking candidates for an Interventional Cardiologist to join our established and highly respected health system within Cleveland Clinic Regional Cardiovascular Medicine. The Cleveland Clinic Regional Health System includes 13 hospitals and over 180 outpatient facilities in Northeastern Ohio.

We are seeking candidates interested in further building an established and respected Interventional program at a Top 10% US News Cleveland Clinic Regional Hospital – Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital. We are looking for cardiologists with advanced (Level 3) fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology. We are seeking expertise in conventional percutaneous coronary intervention techniques and also expertise in complex high-risk and indicated PCI (CHIP) including chronic total occlusion. The operator should have an established skill set that includes supported-PCI and necessary skills for large-bore access, coronary atherectomy, and contemporary CTO techniques including retrograde recanalization. Given the academic nature of the department, prior research experience is encouraged.

Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital is a top 10% US News cardiovascular program with high patient volumes and full cardiovascular services including interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, advanced heart failure, and cardiac surgery. Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital serves as a STEMI treatment center for the west-side of Cleveland with nearly 200 STEMI per year. 

BC/BE in Cardiovascular Medicine and Interventional Cardiology is preferred. A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience is available at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.
