Advanced Practice Provider - Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine Part-Time

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide a combination of Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine at our Franciscan Health WorkingWell Clinic Crawfordsville in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Candidate will find a strong mentorship amongst the group.

WHAT WE NEED:

The ideal candidate will have experience in Occupational Medicine or Urgent Care. Candidate will have ACLS/BLS certifications and will be able to see all patient types. Must be certified/willing to become certified to conduct US Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals by the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME).

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• No call expectation
• Average outpatient volume: 25 – 30 patients per day
• Telehealth offered
• Willing to obtain DOT certification
• Common Procedures: 
  • Exposures 
  • Lacerations 
  • Musculoskeletal injuries
  • Pre-employment, DOT and Non-DOT physicals
  • Sprain and strains 
  • Suturing, willing to learn
• Will read and interpret x-rays and EKG’s
• Strong mentorship

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree - Required
• Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) – Required - or
• Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification - Required
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Required
