The Department of Pediatrics at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, is growing & has great opportunities for you in Amarillo, Texas!!

Neonatology – We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Neonatologist to join the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit team. This position works with 3 other neonatologists and 5 neonatal nurse practitioners. Neonatal care, comprised of 10 shifts per month, is provided at a Level 3 NICU with great collaboration from other service lines. This position offers a mix of inpatient hospital services with academic teaching and training of medical students and residents.  34118BR

Pediatrics – We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible General Pediatrician to join the team. This position offers a mix of outpatient clinic (80% clinical) and academic medical student and resident teaching (20% academic) and mentoring. The weekly schedule will be typically 4 days in clinic, with one day for administrative and teaching duties. The Department of Pediatrics consists of 10 Pediatricians and 5 advanced practice providers, each Pediatrician covers a total of 11 weeks of inpatient and/or nursery and on call services. 31572BR

Pediatric Surgery – We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Surgeon to join the team.  This position will provide pediatric surgery services at both UHS-Northwest Texas Hospital and Ardent-BSA Hospital.  There will be 2 outpatient clinic days per week.  Call is shared with another Pediatric Surgeon.  31456BR

Pediatric Hematology/Oncology – We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to join the team.  This position will provide inpatient Hem/Onc consult service and cover outpatient clinic 2 days per week.  Opportunities to publish peer reviewed clinical research.  31455BR

Pediatric Endocrinology – We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Endocrinologist to join the team. This position offers a mix of outpatient clinic (80% clinical) and academic medical student and resident teaching (20% academic) and mentoring. The weekly schedule will consist of 4 clinic days, averaging 12 patients per full day, and 1 administrative day that will include teaching duties.  Call will be split with another Pediatric Endocrinologist.  34120BR
