Join Our Team: General Surgeon Physician Opportunity at Mercy Health Tiffin General Surgeons

Mercy Health Tiffin General Surgeons is seeking a skilled General Surgeon Physician to join our esteemed team. This position plays a pivotal role in maintaining patient access to primary care in the greater Tiffin area and surrounding communities. Our current practice boasts a well-established two-provider setup, offering a dynamic and supportive environment for professional growth and development.

 

Job Details:

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Locations:

  • 16 office hours per week in Tiffin
  • 8-12 office hours per week in Willard
  • Remaining hours dedicated to surgery block times at Tiffin and Willard Hospitals

Call Schedule:

  • 1:4 rotation with 10 gratis days per month

Hospital Coverage:

  • Covering Tiffin and Willard hospitals

Experience Required:

  • General surgery expertise
  • Robotic surgery experience preferred
  • Proficiency in performing emergent and elective surgical procedures

 

Additional Offerings:

Ancillary Services/Equipment Available:

  • DaVinci Robot available in Tiffin
  • Cardiologist on site at each facility Monday to Friday
  • Outreach pulmonologist available in Tiffin two days per week
  • Comprehensive respiratory and x-ray services accessible at each facility 24/7/365

 

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery
  • Valid medical license in the state of Ohio
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
