Cardiac Anesthesiology Opportunity

St. Peter's Health Partners and Anesthesia Group of Albany, PC have excellent full-time opportunities for Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologists to practice within a well-established private reputable practice located in Albany, New York.

Physicians cover cases out of St. Peter's Hospital campus in Albany. Our program is seeking a talented individual to join our team of five experienced cardiac surgeons. 

Position Details: 

• Positions are full-time with 1 in 5 call rotation.
• First call every eighth night, no second call.
• Cases are primarily cardiac and vascular cases, no OB, and no Trauma.
• Position requires ECHO boards and/or cardiac fellowship.
• Provide anesthesia care for patients undergoing cardiac surgical procedures, including CABG, valve replacements, and other complex cardiac surgeries.
• Collaborate closely with our team of cardiac surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care of cardiac patients.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of anesthesia protocols and practices within the institute.

Requirements:

• Board Certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology.
• Fellowship training in Cardiac Anesthesia.
• Valid medical license in the state of New York or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to providing compassionate care to patients.
