Advanced Practice Provider - Physiatry (PM & R)

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant preferably with experience to meet the growing demand for Physiatry (PM&R) services at Franciscan Physician Network Neuroscience Specialists Indianapolis located in Indianapolis, IN.

WHAT WE NEED:
Ideal candidate will have experience with general rehab and neuro rehab. Candidate would thrive in an inpatient and outpatient environment and be team oriented. The candidate will need to work collaboratively with physician to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care. Candidate will also have a desire to develop strong ties with patients and the community in which they serve.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

• No Call Expectation

• Experience with general rehab and neuro rehab preferred

• Experience with Botox injections for migraine/spasticity management is a plus but if no experience must be willing to learn

• Average outpatient volume: 8-10 patients per day

• Average inpatient volume: 10-12 patients per day

• Common Diagnoses: 

  • Concussion

  • Stroke

  • Brain Injury

  • Amputee

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree - Required

• Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) – Required - or

• Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification - Required

• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Required
