We are seeking a board certified and fellowship trained or experienced Breast Radiologist to join our thriving team of over 40 radiologists. Working in a state-of-the-art environment with 24/7 PACS configuration connectivity throughout multiple hospitals in Maine and New Hampshire, you will provide services in Southern Maine, particularly in Portland.

Overview

  • Our breast imaging team includes several fellowship trained physicians working in multiple breast centers, and performing US, tomosynthesis, MRI and biopsies, as well as serving as leaders in the breast centers and participating in tumor boards.
  • The successful candidate will also have strong general radiology skills.
  • You will be part of a large, subspecialty group with an emphasis on quality assurance which enables us to be a leader in patient care. Maine Medical Center is a teaching affiliate of Tufts University, with a radiology residency program.
  • Additional candidate responsibilities include working with our residents, presenting didactic lectures, and participating in multi-disciplinary conferences.
  • Academic research opportunities are available.
  • There is option to create a position focused strictly on breast imaging, with full time and flexible part time opportunities considered depending on desired work/life balance.
  • While not required, body imaging skills would be beneficial.
