Position Overview:
Specialization: General Surgery with sub-specialties in Robotics, Trauma, Wound Care, and Endoscopy
Requirements: Candidates must possess Robotics training and the ability to perform or be trained in Robotic surgeries. Experience in caring for Trauma Patients is essential, as our hospital is a level 3 trauma center.
Procedures: Proficiency in Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, and various venous access devices is required. Preference for candidates skilled in Wound care and managing complex wounds.
Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with call coverage and consult responsibilities. Five days per week, eight hours per day.
Call Coverage: Current coverage rotation ranges from 1:3 to 1:4.
Expectations: Candidates should deliver high-quality work aligned with the quadruple aim as developed by IHS. Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented practice with a robust patient base. Our office is supported by a Nurse Practitioner who serves as a surgical first assistant.
