Banner Children’s Specialists (BCS), a multispecialty group within Banner Health, is actively recruiting for a Pediatric Infectious Disease Physician to join our team on the campus of Banner Children’s at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, AZ. BCS provides quaternary, fully integrated pediatric services to two pediatric trauma 1 and 2 programs and eight level 2 through 4 NICUs, and is supported by 8 Banner emergency rooms, 32 Banner Urgent Care Centers, and a large in-network community of primary care physicians throughout metropolitan Phoenix. Your office and clinic will be just steps away from the children’s hospital, specialty and primary care offices. You will have the opportunity to support and work closely with our neonatologists, pediatric intensivists and hospitalists, and our multiple surgical and clinical pediatric specialties: pediatric surgery, neurosurgery, cardiovascular surgery and cardiology, hematology and oncology, plastic surgery, urology and gastroenterology, to name a few.
Qualifications:
· Fellowship trained in Pediatric Infectious Disease
· Experience preferred but new graduates will be considered
· ABMS Board certification or eligibility required
· Eligible for licensure in Arizona
Practice Details:
· Primarily located at Banner Desert Medical Center
· Role will include treating congenital infections, surgical abscesses, trauma infections, and quality & safety committee work.
· M-F 7-5; inpatient and telemedicine consults
