Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician led and accountable 600+ provider multispecialty group practice seeking an Infectious Disease Physician. Come and join our Infectious Disease team based in Boise, Idaho.
Opportunities for subspeciality ID: hepatitis Rx, HIV, transplant ID, addiction medicine/OPAT, orthopedic and neurosurgical infections with welcoming sub-specialty surgeons, teaching, stewardship, and infection prevention. It’s a team consisting of 4.0 FTE physicians working approximately 70% inpatient and 30% outpatient with weekend call every 4 weeks.
This full-time position will be doing a mixture of inpatient and outpatient work at our Level II Trauma Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center campus in Boise. There will also be inpatient work at Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Nampa along with telehealth services to our Ontario and Baker City hospitals in Oregon. In a 28-day schedule, there will be 3 weeks of rounding, call, and clinic with the 4th week off to promote a healthy work life balance. Our OPAT program serves rural and remote patients across the great Northwest. The practice works closely with our hospitals to conduct weekday antimicrobial stewardship rounds. We utilize EPIC EHR.
