The outstanding surgical service of the Veterans Affairs (VA) North Texas Health Care System (Dallas, Texas) seeks an attending Reconstructive Urologist Physician. The Dallas VA is a progressive healthcare provider in the heart of North Texas that covers 38 counties in Texas and two in southern Oklahoma. Accredited by The Joint Commission, this 1A complexity level campus is the second largest VA healthcare system in the country, serving more than 136,000 Veterans with 1.6 million outpatient episodes of care in the most recent fiscal year. Responsibilities: The urology staff physician is responsible for patient care, patient education, and resident supervision. The urologist provides comprehensive urologic care for patients within the scope of urology. The scope of this activity covers all phases of clinical care in the inpatient and outpatient settings. Urology residents and possible medical student education with appropriate supervision in the outpatient setting, inpatient setting, and operating room are expected of the provider.
Ideal Candidate: Board Eligible / Board Certified in Urology; Private and Academic practice experience preferred; Fellowship in reconstructive urology, male infertility, or female urology.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 07:30a – 4:00p or 8:00a – 4:30p, Secondary Call about every 4 weeks

VA North Texas Health Care System (VANTHCS) is a progressive health care provider in the heart of Texas.
