Tele-Neurology opportunity - Baptist Health Medical Group - Recruiting incentives up to $200,000

Baptist Health Lexington is seeking Tele-Neurologists - 1 daytime position and 1 nocturnal position (candidate is required to reside in Kentucky or Indiana)

Vascular neurology or neurocritical care fellowship training preferred. 

Intensive tele-stroke experience preferred.

Tele-neurology services are provided for Baptist Health Hospitals, as well as free-standing Emergency Departments (EDs) and some local non-affiliate hospitals.

Shifts will consist of a combination of acute neurological emergency care and non-acute care (including daily daytime tele-rounding and subacute consults), based on volumes and tele-sites. 

  • Day shift providers (rounding+ nonemergent call or emergent calls) must participate in a few on-call shifts (7 PM- 7 AM) distributed evenly among tele-stroke providers. 
  • Night shift (on call) includes primarily acute call and a few subacute calls. 
  • Flexible schedule
    • 12-hour shifts.
      • 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (day shift).
      • 7:00 PM -7:00 AM (night shift). 
    • APP will be available to assist with rounding during day shift.
  • Patient volume is variable.
