ECAA-General Anesthesiologist, Wilson Medical Center

Our collaborative team at Wilson Medical Center is seeking a general anesthesiologist to join the group. Our Wilson team is committed to providing excellent care to our community. The 294-bed facility provides comprehensive services to residents of Wilson County and the surrounding communities.

The position is Full-time and the physician may choose W2 or 1099 work status. We offer a strong starting pay and signing bonus. Position has 13 weeks off per year! For W2 physicians we offer a robust benefits package to include medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as life insurance, 401K, and disability options.

Schedule & Caseload
Physicians work 3 weeks on, 1 week off. For the 3 weeks on, physicians will work 1 in 3 call from home. Every post call day off; no second call. Pre call days are usually out by noon. Cases start at 7:30am and are never scheduled after 5pm (rarely cases go after 5pm). We believe in an efficient OR and are focused on prime-time utilization.

Bread and Butter cases, with a healthy general, orthopedic, urological, ENT and gynecological surgery mix.

We have a labor unit providing the community 900 deliveries per year. We provide mothers with state of the art L&D care.

60% - general
30% - sedations with or without regional anesthesia
10% - neuraxial anesthesia for orthopedic or obstetrics
