Family Medicine Opportunity

MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, on behalf of Franklin General Hospital, is seeking a full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine physician to join an outpatient practice located in Hampton, Iowa.

• Busy outpatient practice with instant volume
• Join 2 Physicians and 5 Advanced Practice Providers
• Newborn to end of life - no OB
• No call outside of clinic hours
• Historically very high would recommend scores- over 90%!
• Specialists available- including Cardiology, Urology, GI, ENT, Ortho, etc.
• Lab, x-ray, sleep, MRI, CT, mammography, nuclear med, PT, RT, ER all on site
• 25-bed critical access hospital and primary care clinic that cares for 11,000 residents of Franklin County
• Affiliate of MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, a Level III Trauma Center and regional referral teaching center

As part of MercyOne Health Network-North Iowa, patients have the benefit of quick access to MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City when needed. A variety of specialty services are provided by outreach clinics in Hampton, including Cardiology, ENT, General Surgery, Neurology, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Palliative Care, Pulmonology, Urology, Audiology and Podiatry.

This is an exciting opportunity for the Family Medicine candidate to be part MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center and Franklin General Hospital.

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE

A highly competitive compensation and full benefits package, including a $150,000 sign-on bonus, is available for the right candidate.

Franklin General Hospital (FGH) is located in Hampton, Iowa. FGH has a tradition of caring since 1915 and has continued to meet and exceed the health care needs of Franklin County and surrounding areas.

Franklin General Hospital is a financially sound rural hospital with 25 acute care beds, a primary care clinic (Franklin Medical Center - FMC) and a 52-bed nursing facility providing high quality care in a rural setting. This "hometown" care includes the full continuum of primary healthcare from health promotion to end of life care.

FGH strives to keep pace with new technologies by acquiring the most up-to-date equipment in mammography, radiology, surgery, laboratory, telemedicine, CT, physical and respiratory therapy, critical care and emergency services.

Outpatient services continue to expand at FGH/FMC and provide additional healthcare services to the community. For the aging population, FGH also provides access to long-term care. Here, 52 residents are cared for around the clock in a resident-centered atmosphere by qualified nursing staff.

Because of the many services it offers and the highly skilled professional staff it hires to deliver these services, FGH plays an important role in making the Franklin County area a great place to live and work. FGH expects to change in the future to serve the community better, but won't change the way they care about people.

Hampton, Iowa is located in Franklin County with a population of approximately 4,500. It is located just 40 minutes south of Mason City, 90 minutes north of Des Moines and 2 hours 40 minutes south of Minneapolis.
