Atrium Health Primary Care Charlotte Medical Clinic- Arboretum offers internal medicine and sports medicine for adults ages 18 and older. 

Highlights about the position include:

• 100% Outpatient
• Join current team of 9 Physician's & 3 APP’s
• Office hours are Monday–Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (4.5 Day Work Week!)
• No Nights/Weekends
• Minimal Call (Phone Only) – Shared amongst the group, 1:#

• Ability to work independently and manage various aspects of electronic documentation during the patient care process

Our board certified providers and team of medical professionals offer a comprehensive range of services including:

• Routine exams and physicals
• Women's health
• Men's health
• Preventive medicine and screening
• Treatment of major and minor illnesses
• Minor surgical procedures
• In-office X-rays and lab work
• Allergy specialists seeing both adult and pediatric patients
• Dermatology specialists seeing both adult and pediatric patients
• A dietician to provide education and counseling on nutrition

Diagnostic Capabilities

• Pulmonary function testing: Spirometry, lung volumes, gas diffusion, arterial blood gas analysis, methacholine challenge test (MCT), oximetry.
• Abdominal ultrasonography: Gall bladder, liver and biliary ultrasound.
• Radiographic studies: Chest, abdominal, bone and soft tissue and sinus radiography.
• Thyroid ultrasonography
• An  infusion center for endocrinology and rheumatology.

Aviation Medicine

Pilots, flight engineers and air traffic controllers are required to maintain certain health standards and must undergo periodic health examination and certification. One of our physicians, Dr. Hudson is a pilot and has been designated by the Federal Aviation Administration as an Aviation Medical Examiners to provide these services. Our aviation medical examiners can also help those with special issuance needs navigate towards a favorable resolution.
