We provide over 75 specialty and sub-specialty services, including neurosurgery, heart and vascular care, cancer care, plastic and reconstructive surgery, da Vinci robotic surgery and much more.

Opened January 2019, Mercyhealth’s Javon Bea Hospital–Riverside is a state-of-the-art, $505 million facility that serves as the regional hub for highly specialized care for children and adults. It houses a state-of-the-art, designated children’s hospital and regional perinatal center. This facility compliments our second Rockford hospital campus, Javon Bea Hospital–Rockton, which continues to provide primary and specialty care.

Outstanding Opportunity:

• Practice is located in  Rockford, Illinois (Northwest Region of Illinois)
 
• Javon Bea Hospital is one hospital with two campuses:  Level I adult trauma hospital with a  Level III NICU
 
• Join a well-established,  busy  Gastroenterology practice
 
• Practice has two Advanced/Interventional GI Hospitalists (covers all in-patient GI cases plus ERCPs, EUS, etc. for 24 hours 7 days per week), two Advanced  Practice Practitioners, and a host of nurses, Medical Assistants and Endoscopy Technicians.
 
• Make your own weekly schedule (3 days in clinic / 2 days in lab or 2  days in clinic  / 3  days in lab)
 
• 18-25  patients per day on average (very busy practice); 3 days per week
 
• 12-15 endoscopy procedures per day on average; 2 days per week
 
• No on-call coverage required
