The Richmond VA Medical Center, located in Richmond, Virginia, is currently in need of a Physician — Critical Care- Intensivist. This position requires immediate filling and is open for your consideration. You will be responsible for providing coverage of the Surgical ICU, which consists of a 12-bed unit. This includes conducting assessments, consultations, rounding, and follow-up of patients. You will also be responsible for managing postoperative patients who require intensive care, particularly those undergoing cardiothoracic and neurosurgery procedures. Additionally, fostering teamwork and effective communication among all internal and external stakeholders is an essential aspect of this role.
