The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha is recruiting a physiatrist with an interest in cancer rehabilitation and a strong desire to further their academic careers and advance the science and education in the field. Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals, our clinical partner, has a CARF-accredited inpatient unit and outpatient clinic. It is one of only three free-standing rehabilitation hospitals in the country with Long-term acute care (LTCH) and rehabilitation hospital levels of care under one roof. Madonna’s cancer rehabilitation specialty program is one of just 14 such programs in the nation to be accredited by CARF, providing an opportunity to step into a program with a fully trained multidisciplinary cancer rehabilitation team. Modern Healthcare recently named Madonna as the fourth largest rehabilitation hospital system in the US.

The ideal candidate must be an MD/DO (or equivalent degree) who is board-certified/eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
