OB/GYN Hospitalist - Saint Luke's East Hospital - Lee's Summit, MO

Saint Luke’s Health System is seeking a BC/BE OB/GYN Hospitalist with 3-5 years of experience to join our existing practice at Saint Luke’s East Hospital in Lee’s Summit, MO.

About the position
• The OB Hospitalist Group consists of BC/BE physicians providing evidenced-based care to a diverse patient population at Saint Luke’s East Hospital
• The OBGYN Hospitalist provides care on labor & delivery as well as surgical care for antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum patients, including unassigned OB and gynecologic patients presenting through the ED
• Responsibilities include clinical resource for L&D staff, patient assessment and triage, care coordination and/or coverage as needed for the delivering OB groups, deliveries, and surgical procedures, as needed; high risk patients are transferred to Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City
• Strong sub-specialty support including MFM, anesthesia, neonatologist, GYN/ONC, and URO/GYN
• Rotating/flexible shifts & typically 7 – 9 shifts per month; Mon-Fri nights (14 hrs) 5PM-7AM & weekends (24 hrs) 7AM-7AM
• Preferred candidates will have a demonstrated commitment to quality, safety and patient satisfaction and have a minimum of 3 years obstetrics/gynecology experience
