Advanced Practice Provider - Hospitalist P.M. Shift

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider Hospitalist to work p.m. shift and help meet the growing demand of our hospitalist program at Franciscan Health Michigan City. This is a high performing, well-respected group with a great culture of teamwork.

WHAT WE NEED:

Ideal candidate will have experience with inpatient care and Internal Medicine, with a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills. Provider will need to work collaboratively with all physicians and staff members to ensure delivery of the highest quality of patient care.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Full time employment with benefits
• 7 days on then 7 days off. P.M. shift hours: 12 p.m. to 12 a.m.; with
• No call responsibility after hours
• Work in ICU as well as inpatient units
• Collaboration with intensivists when working in ICU and with hospitalists when working on inpatient units
• Central line placement and intubation procedures experience preferred. Training can be made available.
• Strong collegial support from Hospitalists, Nocturnal Hospitalist APP’s & Specialists

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree - Required
• Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) – Required - or
• Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification - Required
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Required
